Welcome to the Oxon Hill High Class Of 1964 web site.

If this is your first time here please go to the How To Join / Forgot Password tab on the top of the far right side of the Home Page and join or update your information.  We are delighted to have all OHHS Class of 1964 Classmates join the site.

Thank you for visiting our home on the Web.  We hope you will join your fellow classmates in the our Class of 1964 web site and share your own news as well as learn about the news of classmates.  Information about the next reunion is our first priority for the web site.  We want to give you the opportunity to know about reunions and class events/news.  Check back often so you can stay up to

OXON HILL HIGH SCHOOL ALMA MATER

On a hill in Maryland
stands our Alma Mater.

Grandest place in all the land
to ev'ry son and daughter.

Though our school days soon will pass,
classmates say goodbye.

We will ne'er forget our class
and Oxon Hill High.

Website & Your Profile:

Updates will be made available on our website.  If you aren’t registered on the website, we need you to do so now as that will be our primary form of information and communication.  We ask that each of you visit your profile on the website and make sure all your contact information is current.   We will be using that information to contact you about future gatherings, and classmate news.

Keep watching the website for updates.

Please help find classmates and encourage them to register on the website.   If you haven't been to the website, I would like to invite you to come and have a look around.  It is a secure website, and you need to register and create your own password in order to view the site.

We are going to become more and more self-responsible (there’s an old-time idea) so it’s going to be up to you to stay connected, find out what is going on and provide information to keep the site relevant and helpful.  We will do our best to work with you but each of us has to do our part too.

Profiles - Many of our classmate's  profiles contain interesting notes plus pictures.  If you ever have any free time, take a look at some of them.  We always enjoy seeing updates and information on classmate’s profiles.

Email - Just a reminder that you can email other classmates who have registered on the site.  Great way to reconnect.  Keep your email up to date on the website!

Memoriam Page -  We do our best to keep the Memorial Page up to date even though it’s always sad when we lose a classmate.  Please take the time to look at this page - if you have a memory of someone who has passed away please let Bob Chance (bobchance@comcast.net) know so he can update the Memorial Page.   Share a memory of anyone who has passed.  It  would be nice to see each classmate with a rose by their name.  Seems like that is the least we can do for our departed classmates.  If you have any questions or suggestions, please mail Bob

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Dear Classmates,

We're getting excited about our 60th reunion (and perhaps last, depending on interest, ability and participation) We hope you are too.

In order to get good rates at a great hotel and have wonderful times we have to make a minimum committment to the hotel for rooms, meals, etc.  We get a lot of nice "perks" but we have to have minimum numbers to get those "perks".

Please register and send your check in as soon as possible.  We have done our best to plan a great time, get great rates and make your registration process as easy as possible.

Simply go to the "Registration Form 2024" tab at the top of the Page, click on it and print our your hard copy of the form.  Fill it in, indicate what you will be taking part in and include the appropriate amount of money and mail it on in.  We have a little bit of money to work with so if you need a bit of help to make it possible for you to attend let us know privately and we can't promise but we'll sure try to find some help for you.

None of us know when our last time will be. We have all lost some great friends and what would we give to be able to gather and see each other again.  I know I've lost some lifelong dear friends and I'm not going to miss another reunion as long as I can hobble on down and join our class.  Jo Ann,& Richard, Bonnie & Tim, Richard & Pat and Mary and I have done all we can to help provide a grand old time.  Come, join the fun.

We invite you to join us and to sign up as soon as possible.  No one is guaranteed tomorrow so make the sun shine while you can.

Please contact your friends and classmates you know and encourage them to join you.

Tempus Fugit...as I recall that has something to do with our class...right?

THE GRAND SIXTY th REUNION

Our Next Reunion is set for arrival on Sunday October 20, 2024 and departure on Wednesday October 23.  We will be celebrating our "60th Graduation Anniversary ".   Wow!  Does "Tempus Fugit" sound a little more real than it did 60 years ago?  It sure does to me.

The reunion will be at the Hilton Garden Inn (the former Dunes Manor) 2800 Baltimore Avenue, Ocean City Maryland 21842. Be sure to get the OHHS Class of 1964 group rate.  The Dunes has been totally renovated, updated and is beautiful, all without losing its charm.

Sign up NOW...help us know how many to plan for.  We have reserved a limited number of rooms with a great Group Rate for an ocean front room.  We also have to provide minimum numbers for our meals, events and perks like the Hospilitay Room.

Check back often.  Registration forms were mailed recently to all classmates who have a valid mail address on file.  If you have moved and haven't updated your home address please do so now and let us know, we'll send you a new Registration Letter & Form.

Updating Your Personal Information

When your personal data changes (email address, phone number, status, home address, etc.) you simply go to your profile and make the changes you wish to make.  In other words we each update our own own records!  Keep your profile updated please so you don't miss a thing!  Keep your password handy.

Sending Messages To Classmates...

To post a message to the class simply go to the "Message Forum" Tab on the Left Side Bar of the Home Page.  Post your message and it will go out to everyone.  Think Bulletin Board so post your message carefully   and with sensitivity to other's feelings and perspectives.  If your message intended for only one person or a small group select who you want it to go to so it doesn't go out to everyone.

Posting Reunion Pictures...

Pictures are nested in separate albums under the Photo Galleries tab.

Post or view pictures in the Photo Galleries section of the web site.

We are Looking forward to all the great pictures people will take.  Please be judicious in how many and what kind of pictures your post...we are only allotted so much space.

Pictures from each reunion are posted in a separate folder.  Go and have a look!  We all had a great time.

Check out the new pictures from the DC Area Class Luncheon.  Go to Photo Galleries and click on the DC Area Luncheon Folder.  It was a great time together.

Class Creator has partnered with SSA Stores to offer our class members an extensive line of high quality, custom apparel products.

We have classmates with in- correct email addresses.  It would be helpful if everyone went back and insured their email is correct and up to date.  Eventually we will be sending 50th reunion information out via email and to get it your email address will have to be up to date.  Thanks for checking yours!
